This section of the website is designed for Independent Producers, Directors, and others who might be interested in camera or gear rentals, or in booking editing time on the editing systems. Below is a list of production equipment available for rent, and the components of my editing system. Call for rates and scheduling.

Production Equipment

Sony DSR 300 DVCAM Camera Package

Includes camera, Manfrotto professional tripod, A/C adapter, batteries, Sony 9” monitor

Sony PD 100A DVCAM Camera Package

Includes camera (flip out viewfinder, Steadyshot, XLR input, 16:9 switchable), wide angle lens, 1 batteries, A/C adapter, Manfrotto lightweight tripod

  • Lectrosonics wireless lavalier microphone
  • 13” Monitor (A/C only)
  • Eurorack 1604A Sound Mixer

Post Production System

This post production editing system is designed for producers using DVCAM as source and mastering formats, allowing for output to DVCAM, mini DV, DVD, CD-ROM, S-VHS and VHS. Other output devices may be supplied as needed.

Editing software for both systems is as follows: Apple Studio Pro Package: Final Cut Pro 5/HD (Includes DVD Studio Pro 4, Motion 2, LiveType 2, SoundTrack Pro, Compressor, Cinema Tools). Cleaner 6 is available for encoding/transcoding. Toast Titanium is available for burning/transcoding.

Systems can be rented with or without operator/editor. Editors supplied by MVP Video are award-winning professionals and have extensive experience using the systems and software offered.
